Terms and Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Drivelihood (the platform), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Accounts

Drivelihood offers three account types: Individual, Super Agent and Organization. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Creating an account and browsing are free.

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your country. Providers must additionally hold whatever licences, permits and insurance their service and their jurisdiction require.

3. The services on the platform

Drivelihood lists twelve services: Book a Driver, Book a Ride, Hire a Driver, Find a Driving School, Book a Driving Instructor, Advanced Drivers Training, HDV Training, Road Safety Instructor or Workshop, Book Security Escorts or Guards, Book an Escort or Companion, Hire a Handyman or Handy Escort, and Hire Driver Mates.

Hire Driver Mates is available only to trucking and haulage organizations. Some services require additional detail at booking, such as vehicle class, whose vehicle will be used, the engagement length, the training programme or the machine involved.

4. Drivelihood is a marketplace, not the provider

Drivelihood connects customers with independent providers. We are not the employer, agent or partner of any provider, and we do not ourselves drive, guard, instruct, train or perform any listed service.

Any contract for a service is between the customer and the provider. We do not guarantee the quality, timing, safety or legality of the work performed, and we are not liable for it. We verify identity. We do not supervise the job.

5. Verification

Identity verification is carried out through our verification partner and may require a government issued ID and a liveness check. Providers cannot accept bookings or receive payouts until verified. We may suspend or remove any account that provides false information.

6. Provider privacy and unlocking

Providers appear publicly under a handle rather than their real name. A customer may spend Milestone to unlock a provider, which reveals that provider's real name and contact details to that customer only.

Unlock fees pay for the connection, not for the outcome of the job. They are not refunded because a provider declines, is unavailable, or the two of you do not reach an agreement. Contact details obtained by unlocking may be used only to arrange the service, and never for marketing, resale or bulk contact.

7. Milestone and payments

Milestone is the platform currency. You fund your wallet through our payment partners and spend Milestone on unlocking providers and on platform fees. Milestone has no value outside the platform, is not a bank deposit, does not earn interest, and is not legal tender.

Payments to providers for the work itself are arranged between the customer and the provider unless the platform explicitly handles that payment. Payout requests are subject to verification and to our review.

8. Maps, location and navigation

Routes, distances, arrival times and navigation links are provided using third party mapping services and are estimates only. They can be wrong. They do not account for every road closure, restriction or hazard.

You remain solely responsible for driving safely and lawfully. Do not interact with navigation while the vehicle is moving. Obey road signs and local law over anything the app displays.

9. Drivelihood AI

Drivelihood AI helps you find services, understand the platform and set up bookings. It can be wrong. It does not give legal, financial, medical or safety advice, and its suggestions are not a substitute for your own judgement. You are responsible for reviewing any booking before you confirm it.

10. Safety, SOS and incidents

The platform provides an SOS feature, route logging and incident reporting. These are support tools, not an emergency service. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services first. We do not monitor SOS alerts around the clock and cannot guarantee that anyone will respond to one.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to: impersonate anyone; use the platform for anything unlawful; harass, threaten or endanger another user; take a booking off the platform in order to avoid fees; scrape, copy or resell platform data; attempt to unlock, obtain or distribute provider identities other than through the platform; or interfere with the operation or security of the service.

12. Cancellation and refunds

Either side may cancel a booking before it starts. Milestone spent on unlocking a provider is not refundable, as it has already been used to deliver the connection. Repeated cancellation may result in restriction or removal.

13. Affiliate programme

Affiliate rewards are earned in Milestone when the people you invite fund their wallets. Self referral, fake accounts and any other manipulation will void the rewards and may result in removal from the platform. We may change the affiliate rates at any time.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate any account that breaches these terms, provides false verification information, or puts other users at risk. You may close your account at any time. Unused Milestone may be forfeited on termination for breach.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Drivelihood is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for loss of profit or data, or for the acts and omissions of providers or customers. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform develops. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.

17. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact page.
